Q. I have a bunch of domains registered in the Domain Manager and I want to give up control of one of them to a new user. How do I do this?

A. To split a Domain Name registration in our Domain Manager out into its own profile, do this:

1. Login to the Domain Manager and manage one of the domains you want to move

2. Click on Profile -> Change Owner and enter the login credentials of either an existing profile or create a new profile and click Change Owner. This will move the currently managed domain out of the current profile and into the new profile. Don't forget to give this login info to the new admin!

3. Update the owner, admin and billing contacts of the domain you just split out so that it reflects the new owner if necessary. At a minimum, set the new admin email address in case the new owner forgets to update the info, they would at least get renewal reminders!

4. Repeat for each domain you want to split out.

The admin can then login to the Domain Manager and change the password and manage the domain as usual.
