The new LaneChange.Net DNS Manager login enhanced system brings improved security and Google Sign-In federation. Here is what you need to know to start using the new system.
The changes required that we change the access URL:
New URL: https://sec01.lanechange.net/cgi-bin/dnsmgr.cgi
Logging Into the System -- Non Google Account
For non-Google accounts, login with the same DNS Manager credentials you've always used. The system will prompt you to reset your password. A verification code will be emailed to you and you will need to enter this number along with a new password. That's it. You're in!
Troubleshooting for Non Google Accounts
If the system says your user doesn't exist, don't panic! Simply follow the link to Sign-Up. Use the same email address as your existing account, click on the verification link you get by email and your existing account should now be linked to your new authentication credentials.
Logging Into the System -- Google Account
Simply click on the Sign-In with Google button and follow the prompts. If you are not already logged in with Google, you will be taken to the Google accounts site to validate your credentials, and returned all logged into the DNS Manager.
Note: Is is possible to have the same email address registered with Google and our internal authentication system. If this happens, you will need to make sure you login using the correct system and password. Google and our internal system are not directly linked. If you created an account on our internal system that is also a Google account, it will be up to you to track the account details and use the correct login interface. Both logins will get you into the same DNS Manager account (since access is done by verified email address) - but password management is managed independently by each authentication provider.
