Our latest version of the DNS Manager is now live with the following enhancements:
- Multiple TXT Record Support
- NAPTR Record Support
Multiple TXT Records now Supported
This has been high on our list of requests and we are happy to announce you can now create multiple TXT records for the same FQDN in the DNS Manager as of today. Cloud services are again driving up requests for this enhancement, as many require TXT records to validate your domain. You asked, we delivered! Happy TXTing! ;)
New Record Type: NAPTR Records
NAPTR (or Name Authority Pointer records) are typically used for Voice over IP related services, but do have other uses as well. If you've heard about these records types, you will be happy to know we now support them! If NAPTR is foreign to you, you can probably skip over this section. :)
In this release, we chose to support the most common use-case of NAPTR (usually for SIP) and have implemented the Replacement filed, while omitting the Regexp field. If you have a need for Regexp NAPTRs, please let us know so we can prioritize our development effort of new features.
As always, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@lanechange.net
